PLAY KLVR Terms of Service

1.Who We Are & What These Terms Cover

PLAY KLVR ("PLAY KLVR," "we," "us"), by The Regal Experience, is a recreational league management platform: leagues, matches, events, standings, community, and league-play forecasting across supported sports. These Terms are the agreement between you and The Regal Experience for every PLAY KLVR surface — the iOS app, the web console, and playklvr.com.

2.Definitions

"League" — a group on PLAY KLVR organized around a sport, administered by a Commissioner. "Commissioner" — the member who administers a League: admission, roles, settings, governance, and league-play features. "Member" — anyone belonging to a League. "Match" — any competition recorded on PLAY KLVR (a match, game, round, or workout, per sport). "Kredits" — PLAY KLVR's virtual, closed-loop league currency (Section 5). "Market" — a forecasting proposition on a Match (Section 6). "Forecast" — a Member's Kredit stake on a Market option. "Parlay" — a single stake spanning multiple Markets that wins only if every leg wins. "Methodologies" — PLAY KLVR's own published systems for ratings, handicaps, and odds.

3.Eligibility & Your Account

The plain point: you must be 18 or older, and your account is yours alone.

You must be at least 18 years old to use PLAY KLVR. You are responsible for your account's security and for the accuracy of what you provide. One account per person; don't impersonate anyone. Commissioners are additionally responsible for the eligibility and conduct of the Leagues they run.

4.The Platform: Leagues, Roles & How PLAY KLVR Works

The plain point: PLAY KLVR runs your league; your league runs itself.

PLAY KLVR provides the machinery — scheduling, scorekeeping, standings, events, invitations, community, forecasting — and Leagues supply the play. Much of PLAY KLVR operates automatically from Match activity: standings recompute, notifications send, and (where enabled) forecast Markets open, lock, and settle without manual steps. Features vary by sport and evolve over time.

5.Kredits — Virtual League Currency

The plain point: Kredits are play money. They are not, and can never become, real money.

1. Kredits are a virtual currency that exists only inside PLAY KLVR Leagues, for entertainment within league play, and are allocated by the platform.
2. Kredits have no cash or monetary value. They cannot be purchased, sold, exchanged, transferred outside the platform, cashed out, or redeemed for money, goods, services, or anything of value.
3. Commissioners may allocate and adjust Kredits within their Leagues (for example, opening allocations for new members).
4. Because Kredits are never bought and never pay out value, PLAY KLVR's forecasting features are games of entertainment within league play — not gambling, wagering, lotteries, or financial services, there are no prizes of monetary value, and nothing on PLAY KLVR is an invitation to gamble.
5. Any attempt to trade Kredits for real-world value — inside or outside the platform — violates these Terms and may result in account termination and Kredit adjustment.

6.Forecasting: Markets, Odds & Parlays

The plain point: PLAY KLVR generates the book automatically; the numbers are entertainment, not advice.

1. When Matches are scheduled or accepted, PLAY KLVR may automatically generate Markets — including match winners, three-way results with draws, over/under totals, spreads, and field markets — and, where the League's settings allow, open them automatically.
2. Odds, lines, implied probabilities, suggestions, and written rationales are produced algorithmically from your League's own match history. They are estimates for entertainment. They are not advice, not predictions of real-world outcomes, not offers, and carry no guarantee of accuracy.
3. Markets lock automatically when a Match goes live or reaches its scheduled time; locked Markets accept no further Forecasts.
4. A Parlay stakes once across two to eight Markets in the same League; every leg must win for the Parlay to win; one lost leg loses the ticket immediately. A voided leg is removed from the calculation. A Parlay may be cancelled only while all of its legs remain open.
5. A Member may hold one Forecast per Market (editable or cancellable while the Market is open) in addition to Parlay legs.

7.Settlement, Voids & Corrections

The plain point: results settle the book; commissioners are the referees of last resort.

1. When a Match completes, PLAY KLVR settles its Markets automatically against the recorded result, credits winning Forecasts and Parlays, and notifies participants.
2. Certain outcomes settle manually by design (for example, ties between named athletes in a field market). Commissioners may settle these, and may void a Market where fairness requires it; voided Markets refund stakes.
3. Match disputes, score corrections, and forfeits may change settlements. PLAY KLVR and Commissioners may correct any Market, Forecast, Parlay, or Kredit balance affected by error, dispute resolution, or abuse. Within a League, the Commissioner's decisions on results, forfeits, disputes, and settlements are final.

8.Competition Integrity

The plain point: results come from the players; the numbers come from the platform.

Scores and match results are entered and confirmed by the participants to a Match. K-Rating and any other rating indexes, standings, statistics, and handicaps are computed by PLAY KLVR from that confirmed match history. They are not user-editable: members and commissioners cannot set or alter a rating or a standing directly, only correct the underlying match record through the platform's dispute and correction tools. Manipulating scores, matches, ratings, or Markets, or colluding to do so, violates these Terms.

9.Ratings, Standings, Handicaps & Methodologies

The plain point: our numbers are our own methods, published where applicable, and they mean something inside PLAY KLVR only.

Standings, statistics, handicaps (including golf's average-to-slope handicap and the KLVR Race Chart for billiards), and any current or future rating indexes (including K-Rating, K-Index, L-Caliber, and V-Caliber) are computed by PLAY KLVR's own Methodologies. Methodologies may evolve, and recomputation may change displayed values. PLAY KLVR ratings and handicaps are recreational: they confer no certification, sanction, eligibility, or standing outside PLAY KLVR, and they are not affiliated with, derived from, or equivalent to any third-party rating or handicap system.

10.Commissioners & League Governance

The plain point: joining a league means accepting how it's run.

Commissioners control admission (including invitation codes and links and their revocation), membership status, roles, League settings (including whether Markets open automatically), events, and League governance including votes and their enacted outcomes. A Commissioner's decisions on results, forfeits, and disputes are final within the League. PLAY KLVR provides the tools; Commissioners exercise the judgment. If you disagree with how a League is run, your remedy is to leave it.

11.Your Content

The plain point: your content stays yours; you let us show it where the platform needs it.

You own what you post — posts, comments, messages, scores, match events, images. You grant PLAY KLVR a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, and display that content within the platform solely to operate the service (for example, showing your posts to your League, or your uploaded logo across League surfaces). This license is limited to operating the service and ends when your content or account is removed, except for copies retained as league history without your personal identifiers or as the law requires. Commissioners may moderate content within their Leagues. Post nothing unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or abusive. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

12.Objectionable Content, Reporting & Blocking

The plain point: zero tolerance for abusive or objectionable content.

PLAY KLVR has zero tolerance for objectionable, abusive, harassing, hateful, threatening, or otherwise offensive content and behavior. You can report any post, message, or user from within the app, and you can block any user so their content and messages no longer reach you. We review reports and remove offending content and, where warranted, suspend or eject the responsible user within 24 hours of a report. You may also report content or a user by emailing support@playklvr.com.

13.Acceptable Use

The plain point: play straight.

You will not:

1. manipulate scores, matches, ratings, or Markets, or collude to do so;
2. use PLAY KLVR to conduct real-money gaming of any kind;
3. harass, threaten, or abuse others;
4. impersonate any person or misrepresent affiliation;
5. access or attempt to access accounts, data, or systems without authorization, or probe, scrape, or disrupt the service;
6. reverse engineer the platform except where law permits;
7. create accounts or Leagues for spam or fraud;
8. violate any applicable law through the platform.

14.Venues & Real-World Activity

The plain point: the sport happens in the real world, at your own risk.

PLAY KLVR organizes recreational competition; it does not operate venues, officiate matches, or supervise play. Venues are third-party facilities that PLAY KLVR neither owns nor controls. You assume the risks of physical activity, and you are responsible for your own safety, conduct, and compliance with venue rules during real-world activity. Venue information on PLAY KLVR is provided by users and may be inaccurate.

15.Beta Features & TestFlight

Portions of PLAY KLVR may be offered as beta, including through Apple's TestFlight. Beta features may change, break, or be withdrawn, and beta data may be reset. Feedback you volunteer about beta features may be used to improve the platform.

16.PLAY KLVR's Intellectual Property

The PLAY KLVR and KLVR names, the ‹●› mark, the wordmark, the platform's design, software, and the Methodologies (as expressed in PLAY KLVR's implementations and publications) belong to The Regal Experience. These Terms grant you use of the platform, not ownership of any of it. PLAY KLVR's published Methodologies may be referenced with attribution; they may not be misrepresented as another party's system, nor another party's system misrepresented as PLAY KLVR's.

17.Privacy

Our Privacy Policy (playklvr.com/privacy) explains what we collect and how we use it, and is part of these Terms.

18.Disclaimers

PLAY KLVR is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that scores, standings, odds, ratings, settlements, or notifications will be free of error or delay. Automated computations depend on the data your League records. Nothing on PLAY KLVR is legal, financial, medical, or professional advice.

19.Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law: PLAY KLVR is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, goodwill, or (for clarity) Kredits — which have no value to lose. Our total liability for any claim relating to the platform will not exceed the greater of fifty U.S. dollars or the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim (PLAY KLVR is currently free, so that amount may be zero). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; where they don't, these apply to the maximum extent permitted.

20.Suspension & Termination

You may stop using PLAY KLVR at any time and may delete your account in the app under Settings > Account (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate accounts or Leagues that violate these Terms, harm other users, or create legal risk — with notice where practicable. Sections that by their nature survive termination (5, 8, 9, 11, 16, 18, 19, 23) survive.

21.Apple App Store

The plain point: this agreement is with The Regal Experience, not Apple.

These Terms are between you and The Regal Experience only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Apple is not responsible for PLAY KLVR or its content. The following apply to your use of the PLAY KLVR iOS app obtained through the App Store:

1. Scope of license. The license Apple grants you to the app is a non-transferable license to use it on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
2. Maintenance and support. The Regal Experience is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services for the app. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services for the app.
3. Warranty. The Regal Experience is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app to you (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.
4. Product claims. The Regal Experience, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app or your use of it, including product liability claims, any claim that the app fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
5. Intellectual property. In the event of any third-party claim that the app or your use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, The Regal Experience, not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of that claim.
6. Legal compliance. You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
7. Developer name and address. Any questions, complaints, or claims regarding the app should be directed to The Regal Experience at support@playklvr.com.
8. Third-party beneficiary. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance Apple has the right (and is deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

22.Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the platform evolves. We will date every revision and reasonably communicate material changes (for example, in-app notice). Continued use after an update is acceptance.

23.Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Louisiana, except where your local law grants you non-waivable rights to a different forum.
